Disturbed Postpone UK Tour

Disturbed have been forced to postpone their upcoming UK tour dates.

Singer David Draiman has suffered a recurrence of the severe inflammation of the vocal chords that also cancelled the group’s trek to Britain last year.

A statement from the band said: “Having returned to the live arena too soon after his last vocal problems, recent dates of Disturbed's North American tour have taken their toll on Draiman's voice and he has been advised to take an extended break to ensure a complete recovery.”

All of Disturbed’s upcoming European dates have now been rescheduled for September.

The UK tour will now run:

Newcastle Academy (September 29)
Glasgow Barrowlands (30)
Manchester Academy (October 2)
Nottingham Rock City (4)
Birmingham Academy (6)
Liverpool Academy (7)
London Astoria (9)

Tickets for the original dates will remain valid for the rearranged tour and Nevermore will remain on the tour as special guests.
